Larry S. Rotstein, B.Sc., CA, TEP - Partner

Larry S. Rotstein has been a partner with Rich Rotstein and its predecessor firm for the past fifteen years. His area of practice focuses on taxation and the needs of owner managed and family owned businesses. He has assisted his clientele with such matters as:

  • Tax planning including resolution of tax disputes, tax appeals, estate "freezes" and other types of succession planning and corporate reorganizations.
  • Acting as an "expert witness" in income tax cases.
  • Cash flow and profitability forecasts to obtain new or increased levels of bank and loan financing.
  • Domestic and international tax consultancy services to clients, accountants and law firms.
  • Representing clients in negotiations with Revenue Canada.

  • Supervise preparation of annual financial statements and income tax returns. Meet with clients to review results. Assist in the identification of areas requiring improvement.
  • Preparation of cash flow projections and forecasts to assist clients in obtaining necessary financing for start-up and expansion.
  • Editor of the Owner Manager, a quarterly newsletter dealing with business, legislative and financial planning issues affecting entrepreneurs and small business.
